The Caspian Social University is a multidisciplinary institution of higher education and is positioned at the market of educational services as university, providing quality continuous education with programs of pre-university post-secondary education (college), undergraduate and graduate education (university) in the following spheres: Law; Economics and Finance; Information Technologies: computing equipment and software, automation and management; Geology and petroleum engineering.

The University has it’s own well-developed facilities, modern computer park including the latest computers with dual core processors, interactive electronic boards; three academic buildings in the center of Almaty city with gross area of more than 11500 square meters. Buildings of the University are equipped with computer labs with high-speed unlimited Internet access and local area network with the access to “Student” and “Faculty” electronic databases, specialized laboratories, library having more than 320 thousand volumes of books with the access to virtual library network, three sports gyms with modern equipment and a cafeteria for 80 seats. Auditoria are equipped with modern technical and multi-media means of teaching and learning.

Highly professional faculty composition of more than 200 members, out of which 50 % are doctors and candidates of sciences, is involved in the academic process.

Basis for organizing the academic process is formed by the credit system of education with holding the computerized final knowledge control tests, based on state common mandatory standards of education, with issuing state pattern diplomas. Part-time learning is done according to the distance learning technology.

The University closely cooperates with Colorado University and University of South Carolina (USA), Serge-Pontoise University (Paris, France), Turkish State University, International Paris University (Czech Republic), Urals State University, Tomsk Polytechnic University (Russia) and also participates in USAID project for development of accounting and of international accountants certification program (А/CIPA).
